Chemotherapy:
Chemtherapy treatment is done by anti cancer drugs. Chemotherapy generally uses pills,injections or catheter.
Malignant cancer cells can be killed by chemotherapy treatment but it also have some side effects. During chemotherepy treatment anti cancer drugs affects all cells including both cancer and normal body cells.because of this healthy cells also get damaged which results side effects. These anti cancer drugs effects the normal bone marrow and digestive cells,reproductive cells and hair follicle cells. These cells also effect heart,kidney,bladder,nervous system and other vital organs.

Anemia
During chemotherapy treatment anemia is caused. anemia is defined as decrease in no of red blood cells or decrease in percent of hemoglobin.anemia is defined hemoglobin less than 13.5 grmin men and 12 grms in women for per 100 ml.amemia reduces the amount of oxygen carried by blood to tissues of body.
Appetite changes
During chemotherapy treatment its become difficult to manage appetite.the chemotherapy drugs lowers the appetite of patient.
Constipation
Patient suffers constipation problems during treatment. To cure this problem chemotherapy patient should take care of chemotherapy diet.
Fatigue
Chemotherapy treatment causes fatigue which is daily lack of energy which effects normal life of patient. fatigue gives negative impact to ability of a person.
hair loss
Chemotherapy patients generally suffers from hair loss problems .It is one of the common side effect of chemotherapy.
bleeding problems
bleeding problems in chemotherapy treatments such as nose bleeding are common. sometimes blood clotting also takes place due to drugs used in tratment.
Diarrhea
diarrhea in chemotherapy causes skin irritation,cramping,stomach pain and appetite loss. It happens due to side effect of chemotherapy drugs on lining of interstine.
Nausea and vomiting
Nausea and vomiting in chemotherapy patients takes place when a new cycle of chemotherapy begins.
Side effect of chemotherapy drugs can be varied. It depends upon drugs used for treatment,method of treatment and the way body of a patient reacts with drug.
Some chemotheapy side effect does not start immediately.it can take some time to develop while some may appear immediately.
Chemotherapy treatment causes some long term and short term side effect.some side effects of this treatment disappears after the completion of therapy.
